Helping With United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Investigating the UN Sustainable Development goals has influenced my thinking and actions.Things I have begun to do differently to help meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is turning off the lights in my room when I’m not in their that helps with goal 7 affordable and clean energy. Another thing is I’ve been paying more attention to is whether or not something is trash or recycling so I could put it in the right bin helping with goal 12 responsible and consumption and production. A thing I’ve also done is not throw my trash in the sewer/drain which again helps with goal 12 responsible and consumption and production. A thing I have also done is started taking shorter showers with not as hot water which also helps with goal 12 and goal 6 clean water and sanitation. Therefore these are the things I have been doing to help with the UN Sustainable Development goals.

Election Issues

Through classroom examination of election issues I learned many things. I learned that some of the other candidates, even though they are competing against each other, agree with a lot of things. I learned that their are other people running for president including Jill Stein and Gary Johnson. I learned we might declare war against ISIS. I learned it’s not just a single button can launch all the missiles. I learned that there are many election issues like minimum wage issues meaning they might make minimum wage higher and global warming issues. They might make changes to what we can do so they can try and stop it. Trans-Pacific Partnership the government can send people overseas for jobs and they might make changes to gun control.

Open and closed questions and Google tips

9-20-16

You should use both closed and open questions because you can get answers from both. Benefits of closed questions are if you want to find out like fun facts about a person like what what is their favorite color, or how many siblings do they have. Benefits of open questions is you could find out more so if you ask what is your favorite color and why, or how many siblings do you have and what are their names.

You should use Google  tips to make searching things easier. For example you could put quotes around a word or multiple words and it will tell Google to search those word exactly as you said them. Or you could use define and if you put define in front of a word it will define/ give you the definition of that word.
